STOCKTON TO BRING CONCERT SERIES TO MUSIC PIER IN JULY

The Performing Arts Center of Stockton State College will bring its sea shore concert series to the Music Pier this summer. 

There will be four Monday evening programs: Buckwheat Zydeco, the popular Cajun-blues singer, July 2; “Classic Rock Albums Live” featuring the music of Fleetwood Mac by accomplished cover artists, July 9; Rock ‘n Roll legends John Sebastian and Roger McGuinn, July 16 and the Grass Roots starring original lead singer Robert Grill, July 23.

All concerts begin at 8 p.m. Tickets go on sale at the Stockton Performing Arts Center Box Office on March 12. Tickets are $20 at may be ordered on line at www.stockton.edu/pac or by calling the box office at 609-652-9000. The Box Office is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Tickets will also be available at the Music Pier Box Office which opens Memorial Day Weekend, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. seven days a week. Starting June 22, it will be open 9 a.m. to
9 p.m., seven days a week, call 609-525-9248 or 49. For group sales, call David at

The Stockton “Goes to the Beach Concert Series” has been held for the past five years on the beach at Atlantic City. The Performing Arts Center decided to move the concerts indoors and selected the Music Pier as the ideal location.

Mayor Sal Perillo and Stockton College president, Herman J. Saatkamp met at City Hall to seal a mutual agreement this week.
