2007 OCEAN CITY VISITORS GUIDE NOW AVAILABLE

 

OCEAN CITY, N.J. --- The 2007 Ocean City Visitors Guide is now available from the Ocean City Regional Chamber or Commerce. For a free copy, call 1-800-BEACH-NJ or 609-399-1412 or access oceancityvacation.com.

 The 142 page, full color brochure has extensive information about accommodations, dining, recreation activities and special events, the boardwalk, downtown shopping and real estate and sales rentals. A listing of protected beaches is included along with a City map and information about medical facilities and houses of worship.

There is a section on arts and culture. The City offers two arts centers, an historical museum, a seashell museum, a Youth Opera Company, a Repertory Theater and entertainment events at the historic Music Pier on the Boardwalk and Ocean City Tabernacle. The Ocean City Free Public Library offers variety of programs year around for adults and children.

The City’s Bayside Center presents summer environmental education programs in a picturesque setting by the water. There is also airport and nine hole golf course within the City limits.

There guide contains additional information about area attractions, camping facilities on the Mainland, and golfing along the coast. Ocean City was founded as a Methodist Campground in 1879 and has evolved over the years into one of the nation’s premier family resorts
